THE PERIPHERY OF THE BAY AREA — This Month’s Custom Google Map
Share

Welcome to My Google Maps Monday (MGMM), where, once a month, as a part of the paid subscription to To Taste, I’ll be sharing a custom google map of my recommendations for a specific part of the world (Brooklyn, Alabama, Japan…). These maps are a result of many hours of research, both in person and online, and they serve as my guide to what I’ve seen and enjoyed of the world and its food. Once you have the link, you can add it to your google maps, and pull it up any time you are in a new place and are looking for good places to eat, bars to get your ass kicked in, or even hot springs and other natural beauty.

This month’s map will be…. …. … …….. The Periphery of The Bay Area (more, almost excruciating details on what that actually means, below)! You can find the link to the map at the end of this post — open it on your phone, click “Save List,” and whenever you want to use it, go to the “You” section on the bottom of Google Maps, find “Cody’s Periphery of The Bay,” click the three dots and select “Show On Your Map.” Enjoy <3

NOTE: I kindly ask that you don’t share my maps with other people and instead encourage them to sign up <3
The Map!!!!

I love the Bay Area. I find it to be one of the most beautiful places in the world. Driving over the Richmond Bridge, you might think you’ve died and gone to the south of France. I love every inch of Highway 1 so deeply — from Morro Bay to the Lost Coast, above and below, and especially the stretch just north of Jenner. I love the redwoods, I love the rain in the winter and watching the rolling hills change from toast brown in color to sage green. The larger Bay Area and Northern California in general feels like it vibrates at the same frequency as my insides. If I had a stable creative career (lol), all my loved ones, and a lot of money, I think I’d probably buy a house there and settle my ass down.
